After Hurricane Katrina, the city of New Orleans was left to rebuild almost completely. Not one part of the city was left untouched by the destruction of the storm. Rufino's Painting and Construction Inc. played a major role in the rebuilding efforts of the city of New Orleans immediately after the storm and continues to help through the long process of restoring such a historic city. Rufino's historical involvement has added to the wonderful reputation Rufino's Painting and Construction has earned for itself through its 19 years of service not only to the city of New Orleans but to the Southeast region as well.
Because of this, one of Peru's top television stations came specifically to New Orleans to interview Rufino and his successful company. The documentary was shown on primetime and nationwide in Peru.
